DESCRIPTION:Wine and Chocolate Gala to Support Our Children\nEach year, the Westmoreland Children First sponsors a large fundraiser to provide support for children under the care of the Westmoreland County Children’s Bureau. This gala raises funds for essential needs not covered by governmental funds.\nThe event offers families and children such essentials as winter outerwear, holiday gifts, food for adoption events, essential personal care and school needs, and much more. Through this event and contributions from our sponsors, hundreds of children and families are provided additional resources to improve the quality of their lives.\nThe event takes place the first Saturday of October and features entertainment, wine tasting, gourmet chocolates, raffles, and a silent auction of one-of-a-kind items.  Attending this event are many of our area business leaders, local government officials, educators, and community members who care about the future of our next generation.\n\n
