The Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Westmoreland County will hold their annual plant sale on Sat., May 13, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the Donohoe Center, 214 Donohoe Rd., Greensburg PA 15601. Native plants will be featured to help gardeners add “25.0” native plants to their gardens in honor of Westmoreland 250. Native plants support butterflies, moths, bees and other native pollinator insects and are necessary to become a “Monarch Waystation” to help save the Monarch butterflies. A large variety of annuals, vegetables, herbs and perennials will also be available.
