On Tuesday, July 7th at 11:00 am, former Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett, former U.S. Court of Appeals judge Timothy K. Lewis, and Westmoreland County Court of Common Pleas judge Harry F. Smail will join former Ohio Supreme Court Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor and former Ohio Supreme Court Justice Michael P. Donnelly in Greensburg for a commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence with Keep Our Republic (KOR) and the Westmoreland County Bar Association. The event will be moderated by Jon Delano, former KDKA reporter and analyst.

State and local officials will meet with Westmoreland County middle and high school students, and other members of the community, to honor our nation’s founding principles of liberty and self-government, and raise public awareness of the importance of sustaining these virtues today and in the future. The event will feature a reading of the Declaration of Independence as well as showcase student projects celebrating the 250th anniversary.
