Pianist Michael Brown, hailed by The New York Times as “one of the leading figures in the current renaissance of performer-composers,” joins the WSO for a special french-inspired Valentine’s weekend concert to perform Ravel’s exquisite Piano Concerto in G. The program also features Overture to La Péri by Paul Dukas, a composer you may recognize from Sorcerer’s Apprentice in Disney’s “Fantasia” and the concert concludes with Franck’s Symphony in d minor.
