Thank you for participating in the Westmoreland County America250PA Student Essay, Poster, and Video Contests! We were incredibly inspired by the creativity, thoughtfulness, and civic pride shown through the submissions from students across Westmoreland County.

Your reflections on what America means to you, and your exploration of liberty, unity, resolve, and resilience, help make America’s 250th anniversary meaningful for our community. We are grateful to the teachers, schools, and families who encouraged and supported student participation in this special initiative.

We would like to warmly invite all contest winners and their families to attend the Westmoreland County Commissioners’ Public Meeting on Thursday, June 25 at 10:00 AM at Westmoreland County Community College, where winners and teachers will be recognized as a group and will have the opportunity to observe local government in action.

Following the meeting, attendees are also encouraged to stay for the Westmoreland Health & Human Services Fair and to explore the beautiful Westmoreland County Community College campus.
