Derek Woods Band is a lyrically driven and timeless Americana/rock band with a modern polished exterior who was recently nominated for a 2021 Award for “Unforgiving Tree” by Hollywood Music in Media Awards.

DWB initially formed in Lost Angeles, California in early 2012 following solo performances in 2011 by Woods and later established a home base and core lineup of musicians on the East Coast while gaining a cost-to-coast following.

Derek Woods Band has shared the stage with legendary acts such as Jefferson Starship, Leon Russell, Allman Betts Band, Cheech & Chong, Lisa Marie Presley, Rusted Root, and Jimmy Herring, and has been featured at many events including Woodstock 50th Anniversary at Yasgur’s Farm in Bethel, NY and performing at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, CA.
