Orff: Carmina Burana

After composing Carmina Burana, Orff said “Everything I have written to date, and which you have, unfortunately, printed, can be destroyed. With Carmina Burana, my collected works begin.” Written between 1935 and 1936, it remains one of the most recognizable and popular works in the classical repertoire.
